About the event
Ten years ago, a group of local artists decided Ely needed a gallery of its own. What started as a bold idea on Sheridan Street has grown into something none of us could have fully imagined — a thriving cooperative, a community gathering place, and a home for art made right here in the northwoods.
To mark a decade of making, we gave our artists a challenge: push the edge. Try something new. Go somewhere you haven't gone before. The result is Edge Work — a celebration of artistic risk, creative growth, and the kind of work that only comes from ten years of showing up.
Join us for the Open House on Thursday, September 10th from 5–7pm. Meet the artists, see the work, and take home a free greeting card as our thank-you for ten years of support.
