Introduction to Floor Loom Weaving

Have you been curious about weaving on a floor loom? This class offers you the chance to weave a beautiful wool scarf on a floor loom located at Art and Soul Gallery’s upstairs studio. The loom is pre-warped with vibrant colors and is ready for you to sit down and weave. Julie will provide individual instruction and coaching as needed when you come to the Gallery to weave independently. There is an initial in-person session with all students together where Julie will explain how the loom works and will demonstrate the weaving technique. After that, each student chooses one week to reserve the loom and weave their scarf on their own time. Julie will meet with each student individually, while they are weaving, for up to 3 hours of additional coaching.
